Medicare

Aging into Medicare? Working Past Age 65?
Recently Eligible due to Disability?

You have so many questions, have heard so many “facts” and gotten so many phone calls and stacks of mail. We understand and we are here to help.

Why is it so confusing? Why are their two parts to Medicare? What is the difference between A&B? When and why do I need to enroll? What if I want to keep working past age 65? What is the difference between a Medicare Supplement and a Medicare Advantage plan? Which is right for me? What is the Donut Hole? The Coverage Gap? What are all those letters about? Can I keep my doctor?

We can explain it all – why 1960’s history matters – you really do need to know this! We know the rules, the answers and can help you, personally. You matter. Your medical and prescription needs matter. Where you access health care matters.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all your options.

At K Insurance Group we meet with our clients in person and by appointment only. These days that in person meeting may be virtual if you choose. But we talk with you directly. We explain and answer all your questions. We listen, we find the best solution. We take care of the enrollment. We stay with you -as your needs change, as time changes. Each year, companies are bringing new plans and new benefits. We have close working relationships with all our carriers, and we know what is coming each year. Surprisingly, we also know more than the tv ads! Because we work with you in our local community and Statewide in Oregon. We know what options are available to you.

Now is the time to contact K Insurance Group for the help you need.

individual & Family Insurance

If you are self employed, work for a small employer who doesn’t offer benefits, or if you want to retire early or just received notice you are losing your current benefits, we are here to help.

We are certified through the Health Insurance Marketplace to assist anyone who needs their own health insurance. The ACA eliminated barriers such as pore-existing conditions and also expanded no cost preventive care. The America Rescue Plan, passed in 2021, generously expanded the amount of federal financial help to anyone who purchases their own health insurance by lifting the income ceiling to be eligible. We have helped hundreds of individuals and families with affordable health insurance.

Marketplace Enrollment

Over 142,000 Oregonians enrolled in Individual Health Insurance for year 2022 via the Federal Marketplace. The open enrollment period extends from November 1 through January 15, but enrollment is open year-round to individuals and families who experience life changes such as:
